PIT Maneuver Used to Stop Fleeing Vehicle Saturday Night in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — West Fargo Police used a PIT maneuver to stop a fleeing vehicle Saturday night.

They arrested the driver, 27-year-old Shelby Whitt of Jamestown, for fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and fentanyl and driving under suspension.

A passenger, 35-year-old Derek Krause who has no permanent address, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Police initially tried to stop Whitt for a traffic violation in the 400 block of 7th Avenue East.

The chase ended in the 1100 block of 13th Avenue East.

No one was hurt.
