Leadership Agreement Reached and MN House Will Organize Thursday

ST. PAUL (KVRR) — A leadership agreement has been reached between Minnesota House DFL and Republican leaders.

They will organize the House effect on Thursday.

House DFL Leadership will hold a news conference in the Capitol press conference room at 9:30 a.m.

The exact terms of the deal have not yet been released.

Republicans have a one-seat advantage over the DFL but a special election has been called for March 11 in District 40B.

That seat is expected to remain in the Democrat column, making it a tied House at 67-67.
