West Acres Hosts Winter Farmers Market
The event also featured a Senior Day coffee social to kick things off.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – While temperatures are warming up, it’s still not quite yet warm enough to move the farmers’ market outdoors.
That’s why West Acres Mall hosted it indoors this Saturday, with more than 35 local vendors offering hot food, original artwork, and homemade crafts, among other things.
The Winter Farmers Market also doubled as a Senior Day, with the mall holding a coffee social from 9 to 11 A-M for visitors over 55 years of age.
There was also live music through the duration of the market and, to encourage those with limited financial means to spend their money locally, the market offered a $15 dollar match to those using SNAP or EBT benefits.
