Kuwaiti National Who Overstayed Visa Taken Into Custody in Northern Minnesota, Vehicle Seized

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — U.S. Border Patrol Grand Forks Sector announces a Kuwaiti national who had overstayed his visa and falsely claimed to be a U.S. citizen has been taken into custody.

The man was apprehended by Warroad Station Agents in collaboration with Lake of the Woods County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle he was operating was seized.

Pictures released by Border Patrol show a motorcycle inside the vehicle.

They say the man will be prosecuted as they commended their agents and all agencies involved to help ensure border security.
