One Year After Alleged Detroit Lakes Burglary, Sen. Mitchell Faces New Conflict of Interest Complaint

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KVRR) — Sen. Steve Drazkowski of Mazeppa, Minnesota has filed a conflict of interest complaint against fellow Sen. Nicole Mitchell of Woodbury.
The Republican says the Democrat Mitchell voted on a matter that directly impacted her income and continued employment.
Mitchell took part in a Senate vote on January 27 to uphold a ruling by the presiding officer against a motion to expel the senator.
She is set to stand trial in June for breaking into her stepmother’s home in Detroit Lakes, exactly one year ago.
Drazkowski has filed his complaint with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board.
He is asking them to determine if her vote was a conflict of interest under Minnesota law.
