Couple Arrives Home To Find House Engulfed in Flames in Osakis Township, MN

DOUGLAS CO., Minn. (KVRR) — An Osakis, Minnesota couple returned home Friday afternoon to find their house was fully engulfed in flames.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office got a report of a house on fire around 2 p.m. along Calvary Road Northeast.

Two fire departments responded and put out the blaze but the home is considered a complete loss.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office will be assisting with the investigation.

American Red Cross is helping the family.
