LIVE: A Part of Your Past Comes to Life
WEST FARGO — A new collaboration between NDSU and Bonanzaville is opening up this weekend with three new permanent exhibits, and its creators want to hear from you.
NDSU’s Museum Studies students created two of them from artifacts they found within Bonanzaville’s archival collection.
They cover Fargo’s frontier origins and the history of Bonanza farms in the region.
It’s been a labor of love for the students.
They say it’s important for them to get it right, especially since so many families who helped establish Fargo as a city are still here.
Some of the students on the project joined the Morning Show to talk about why they’re so passionate about bringing North Dakota’s history to life, both as researchers and on behalf of families new and old who make up the Fargo community.
