MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KVRR/FOX 9) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota reveals that Vance Boelter allegedly went into the homes of four state lawmakers early Saturday morning.

The 57-year-old is charged with stalking and murder. He is accused of fatally shooting Rep. Melissa and Mark Hortman and injuring Sen. John and Yvette Hoffman.

The attorney’s office has laid out a timeline where Boelter first went to Champlin, where the Hoffmans live, before going to Maple Grove, New Hope and then Brooklyn Park.

When in Maple Grove, he rang the doorbell but no one answered. That female lawmaker was on vacation. Officials are not saying who the person is specifically.

Boelter then allegedly went to the home of a state lawmaker in New Hope. Officers were already there doing a welfare check, and Boelter left when more officers arrived for Brooklyn Park where the Hortmans were fatally shot.

He was eventually arrested Sunday night near his Green Isle home after a 43-hour manhunt.
