Blues in the Red River Valley: Headliners from Blues Fest

FARGO — They rolled in under smokey skies for their first night in the Red River Valley all the way from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Now, the Scott Ellison band is taking to the main stage at the 30th annual Fargo Blues Festival.

It’s the region’s largest Blues Festival and it’s attracting artists from around the country, including Chicago, New Orleans and the Southern California region.

It’s two days of sound, sun, and celebration of blues at Newman Outdoor Field.

Headliner Scott Ellison and his band gave the Morning Show a sneak preview with their original song, “I Wish I Had a Dime.”
