WEST FARGO — United Way supporters spent their lunch hour enjoying tacos while fighting poverty.

This is the third year United Way Cass-Clay has hosted the Fiesta 4 Impact.

People got to enjoy a taco in a bag and with sweet treats along with games and rides on MSUM’s Dragon Express.

There was also a backdrop for festive photos.

Presale tickets cost 20 dollars with tickets at the door costing 25 dollars.

The event was held at Light Consulting in West Fargo.

“We created an environment around the taco in a bag to have a good time,” said Sarah West, owner of Light Consulting. “We also leverage our relationships. So Bremer Bank has been a sponsor for years. Magnum Electric, TrueNorth Steel, Choice Insurance, they all are people we work with on a daily basis.”

All proceeds benefit United Way’s efforts to combat homelessness in Cass and Clay counties.
