Great Maze Set to Return to West Acres

This maze will be made of cedar wood, and organizers expect it to break the Guiness record for largest cedar maze in the world.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Great Maze at West Acres Mall is coming back this year with many changes aimed at making it bigger and better than ever.

The maze’s new design features white cedar planks that organizers say will deliver more challenges and fun. 

The maze will be the largest cedar wood maze in the world and is expected to break the Guinness World Record.

Of course, there’s more than just the maze itself. West Acres representatives say there will be scavenger hunts, pumpkin sales, and other games and activities.

There’s also the corn pit. This year, it’ll be larger, will include playground equipment and will be under a tent with seating for parents.

The Great Maze is open Aug. 30 through Oct. 31.
