West Fargo High School Goes on Lockdown Due to Unidentified Individual on Campus

The lockdown lasted about a half an hour.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – A brief lockdown at West Fargo High School has now been lifted following a sighting of an unknown individual on campus.

According to sources within the department, the lockdown went into effect just after 2:00 P.M. on August 29. It was implemented due to that unknown, non-student being inside the school building.

The person reportedly fled from the grounds upon being confronted. The department says no threats were made nor were any students and staff in immediate danger. The lockdown was lifted just before 2:30 P.M.

Pick-up and drop-off of students will not be impacted, and classes have resumed as normal.
