Another charged in Feeding Our Future fraud scheme, involving Moorhead & Pelican Rapids sites

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KVRR) — Another person is charged in the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme.
Abdirashid Dool, 36, is charged in a seven-count indictment with wire fraud and money laundering.
Dool and another co-operated two food sites, the MRC food site in Moorhead and the Bilaal food site in Pelican Rapids.
They falsely claimed to be serving over 40,000 meals to children every week.
In reality, Dool submitted phony rosters purporting to list the names of the hungry children who he fed at his meal sites.
He reportedly used his cut of the proceeds to travel and to buy real estate in Minnesota.
Dool is the 78th defendant charged in the largest Covid-19 fraud scheme in the country.
