Men arrested during traffic stop earlier this month had multiple stolen credit cards and key fob for stolen vehicle

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Police in Fargo are revealing that a traffic stop earlier this month resulted in the arrest of three men and the discovery of multiple stolen credit cards.

Officer Tyler Hawes stopped their vehicle on Monday, December 8 in the 3100 block of Fiechtner Drive after matching the description of one involved in an earlier vehicle break-in.

K-9 Blue was called in and the search uncovered fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

The driver, 39-year-old Jeffrey Johnson of Fargo, had a suspended driver’s license and he was arrested for possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

One passenger, 21-year-old Jackson Mulder of Fargo, had recently been identified as a person of interest in several package thefts in north Fargo.

Mulder was arrested for theft, possession of a credit device, unauthorized use of personal identifying information and theft of a motor vehicle.

Additional charges are pending.

The second passenger, 41-year-old James Caswell of Fargo, was taken into custody for drug paraphernalia and a Cass County warrant for failure to pay fines.

A stolen vehicle associated with a recovered key fob was later located nearby and towed at the owner’s request.
Additional victims were notified regarding the recovered credit cards.
