HARWOOD, N.D. —  A dozen or so anti-ICE protestors demonstrated at the site of a planned $3 billion AI data center after multiple reports of ICE enforcement sightings Monday in the metro.

That’s after the metro-based activist group said online they were responding to rumors Vice President J.D. Vance had arrived in Fargo and would be touring the data center site.

Vance spoke out in defense of an ICE officer caught on camera shooting to death a 37-year-old Minnesota mother, Renee Nicole Good, last week at a demonstration in Minneapolis.

Protestors held signs reading “Justice for all ICE victims” and making reference to the Vice President.

Construction is well underway on the data center being built by the Texas-based company.

It was approved by Harwood City Council in September.
