Two taken to hospital after overnight fire

Fargo, N.D. (KVRR) — Two people are in the hospital after a house fire late Monday night.
The Fargo Fire Department responded to the fire at a single-family residence at 1342 15th Street South just before 11 P.M.
When crews arrived, they found the first floor of the house fully engulfed in fire. All residents were out of the house prior to their arrival.
A second alarm was called for aditional crews to get the fire extinguished. The fire caused significant structure damage to the home.
Two residents had to be transported to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. Four cats also died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
