32nd Avenue South 2026

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – Construction is resuming on the next phase of the 32nd Avenue South reconstruction project in Fargo.

The third segment stretches from 15th Street along 32nd Avenue to the river.

The work will take place over the summer and be done in two phases. Drivers will see delays, reduced lanes and shifting traffic patterns. Signs will be posted to direct drivers through the construction zone and business access will be maintained.

Last construction season, the primary contractor, Dakota Underground, received a $150,000 bonus from the city of Fargo for completing the work about a month ahead of schedule. The main contractor on the third segment is Reede Construction Inc. of Aberdeen, South Dakota.

The segment is the final part of the $18 million project that began in April of 2023.
