Grand Forks Teen Arrested for DUI After Rollover Crash

The Grand Forks Police Department says this is the 19-year-old's second such offense.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – A 19-year-old is in custody at the Grand Forks County Jail after an early-morning rollover crash led to his arrest.

The Grand Forks Police Department says Lorenzo Lafromboise was driving near the 4700 block of Gateway Drive just after 4:00 A.M. on May 3.

He lost control of his 2006 GMC Sierra, went over the curb, struck a tree, and then rolled the car, with it coming to rest on the driver’s side.

Lafromboise was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel and declined to be taken to the hospital. He has been charged with a 2nd offense of driving under the influence, having an open container, reckless driving, and a minor in consumption.

Police say no other individuals were involved in this incident.
