Fire damages La Unica Mexican Market in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Fire broke out Friday morning at a Mexican market in Moorhead.

Firefighters were called to the fire at La Unica at 2615 12th Ave. S. at around 9:37 a.m.

Owner Amy Espinoza says she called 9-1-1 after an employee arrived and discovered thick black smoke coming out of the building.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire will be investigated.
