Juvenile arrested on burglary charges after fleeing Fargo police

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – The Fargo Police department says a juvenile was arrested early Friday morning after robbing a house and stealing a car. Police say they arrested the juvenile hours after they led officers on a search involving a stolen car.

Officers found an open garage and tire marks in the 1800 block of 18th St S just after midnight while patrolling a neighborhood and contacted the homeowners who said their house had been robbed. Police say they found the juvenile twenty minutes later in a stolen car, and the juvenile fled officers after an attempted traffic stop. Officers did not pursue and monitored their whereabouts.

The juvenile ran from the stolen car a short time later. Officers found and arrested them at their home just before 3:45 a.m. Charges may include felony criminal trespass, burglary, vehicle theft and refusing to stop for police.
