Protesters Gather At Planned Parenthood, Want To Defund Organization

Protesters hit the streets in the F–M area as part of a nationwide complaint against Planned Parenthood.

Protesters stood outside of the Moorhead Planned Parenthood Clinic and also in front of 624 Main Avenue, that protesters say is an office for the organization.

It’s an ongoing battle that doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Several demonstrators say after the controversial videos released last year that Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

These videos allegedly suggest that the organization is illegally selling fetal tissue for profit.

Pro–life groups say they don’t want their tax dollars going into an organization that they believe do more harm than good.

“They already make money off the abortions and the other things that they do. They have plenty of corporate sponsors. They ask for charitable giving from people. Our government should not be involved in given them any kind of money,” says protester Janet Wendel.

“I’m not a dad, but I want to be some day, and I really see the value in human life and the life of our children,” says protester Tanner Post.

This is the first annual nationwide protest against Planned Parenthood.

Protesters plan to continue this the 4th Saturday every April.
