Couple Accused of Forging Check and Thefts

Valley City police use a recording to nab two people that passed a bogus check.

31-year-old William Fisher and 28-year-old Jessica Gamel face charges for having stolen property, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Police say the couple passed a forged check taken from John Deere Seeding.

They used search warrants to recover other items stolen from the business and another open theft case.
