Wild Fall to Hawks, Trail in Series 3-0
The Minnesota Wild lost 1-0 to the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night, giving the Hawks a commanding 3-0 series lead.
Patrick Kane scored the game’s lone goal on the power play in the first period. The WIld had several chances to try and even the contest, perhaps no two better than Jason Pominville and Mikael Granlund point blank, but Pominville sent it wide of the net and Granlund was stopped by Corey Crawford.
The Wild must now try to become only the 5th team in NHL history to win a series after trailing three games to none. Game four is set for Thursday night.
