Thompson Woman Drives Drunk; Takes Infant Along for the Ride

A Thompson woman is in custody after allegedly driving drunk with an infant in her vehicle.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Melissa Jordal was arrested around 5 o’clock this morning.

They say Jordal was drunk, had a suspended license and the infant wasn’t properly restrained.

She faces a number of charges including felony child abuse or neglect.

The child was turned over to Social Services.
