Freezing Rain Causes Several Crashes
Freezing rain that moved across Stutsman and Barnes Counties Friday caused at least seven crashes on I-94.
An SUV crossed the median near Jamestown and hit a semi-truck. This accident resulted in two other SUV’s crashing in attempts to avoid the scene.
Another crash on the east side of Valley City shut down part of the interstate for nearly an hour when a semi rolled onto its side, blocking both westbound lanes.
The state patrol says no one was injured in the crashes. They say drivers were going too fast for conditions.
