“Green” Hotel Opening In West Fargo
A unique hotel opening up in West Fargo is working to make sure it’s green friendly.
The Element by Westin will be opening up next week.
A lot of the material used in construction is recycled.
They offer filtered water in every room, have a car charging station and their pool uses saline instead of chlorine.
“We’re actually green from the ground up, so everything, every aspect of the building including the start of the build and the finish and the sustainability in the final product that we have, all started from being a green facility,” said sales and marketing manager Cristina McCoy.
The hotel is working on a LEED certification that would classify the hotel as environmentally friendly.
