Eide Bailly Forensic Manager Calvin Weeks is teaching local business owners how to protect themselves and their customers from being victims of fraud.

Two major breaches recently at Turbo Tax and Anthem Health Insurance have affected millions in the U.S.

Weeks says to keep an eye on your credit history and bank statements and report anything that seems out of the ordinary.

“So much of our personal private information, when you go to the bank when you go to the grocery store, when you go to the hospital, when you go to the doctors, they all put their information in their computers and you’re at risk at that way as well,” said Weeks.

Weeks also says that anyone could be a target for fraud.
