North Dakota Arts and Culture Industries to Receive CARES Act Funding

BISMARCK, N.D.–Arts, culture and creative industries impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply for CARES Act funding.

The North Dakota Council on the Arts announced a total of $371,700 is available on Monday.

Organizations and nonprofits whose revenue relies heavily on admissions, ticket sales and other earned income are eligible to apply.

Artists and contractors who produce art and cultural events can also apply for the funds.

Arts and Culture nonprofits can apply for up to $5,000 and artists up to $1,000.

The CARES Act applications will close May 18.
