Lawrence Alexander Named to Lou Henson Award Watchlist

North Dakota State University senior guard Lawrence Alexander has been named to the mid-season watch list for the Lou Henson Award, which is presented annually to the Division I mid-major player of the year.

 

Alexander leads The Summit League in scoring (17.9 ppg), minutes played (38.3 mpg) and three-pointers per game (2.8).

 

The Peoria, Ill., native ranks fourth in the nation in minutes per game and 53rd in points per game. Alexander has seven games of 20-plus points this season, and he has made multiple three-pointers in 14 of 18 games.

 

The 2015 recipient of the Lou Henson Award will be announced at the CollegeInsider.com Awards Banquet on April 3 in Indianapolis, site of the 2015 Final Four.
