Looking for a Job? Dilworth Police Department Adding Officer to Patrol

Dilworth is getting another full time police officer.

Chief Ty Sharpe got approval from the city council on Monday to hire a new officer.

He or she is expected to start on January 1st.

It’ll be the first new police officer added to the ranks since 2005.

Sharpe says a 7th full time officer will bring relief to the schedule, as well as add much needed double coverage during some of the busier call times.
