UPDATE: People Involved in Grand Forks Police Vehicle Crash Identified

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR-UPDATE) —  A young woman on a police ride along in Grand Forks gets more than she bargained for.

20-year-old Sarah Hall was in a police vehicle that crashed with another vehicle while responding to a theft in progress at Rock Bottle Shop last night around 8 o’clock.

Hall and Officer Nicholas Fladland, along with the driver of the other vehicle, 23-year-old Tylar Williamson of Thief River Falls, were taken to Altru with non-life threatening injuries.

All were treated and released.

A passenger in Williamson’s vehicle declined medical treatment.

The crash is still under active investigation and no charges have been forwarded.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – Police in Grand Forks say four people were injured in a crash involving a police car.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a theft in progress at the Rock Bottle Shop when the squad car collided with a car at the corner of Gateway Drive and North Columbia Road.

The police officer, a civilian in the squad car and two people in the other car were taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The crash is under investigation.
