Car Passenger Killed in Pope County

A 71-year-old Villard, Minnesota man is dead after a crash in Pope County Saturday.

Larry Kuseske was a passenger in a car driver by Susan Kuseske.

Authorities say he died after 20-year-old Dominic Marthaler of Sauk Centre failed to yield and hit Kuseske’s car.

Susan Kuseske was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Marthaler was not hurt.

Authorities say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

It is under investigation.
