UPDATE: Third Person Confirmed Dead After Car Crash in Divide County
The North Dakota Highway Patrol confirms a third person has died after a car crash in Divide County.
The patrol says 31-year-old Lesley Gunderson of Noonan died at the hospital from his injuries.
Shelly Gunderson, 8 and Shayleigh Gunderson, 2 also died at the scene.
The fourth person in the car, 4-year-old Shelton Gunderson has serious injuries and was airlifted to a Minot hospital.
The driver of the other car, 49-year-old William Koehler, had minor injuries.
The Patrol says while Lesley Gunderson was not wearing a seatbelt, the three children in the vehicle were.

Two young girls are dead after a car crash in a construction zone in Divide County.
The Highway Patrol says the 2 and 8-year-old girls from Noonan died after their car was rear-ended on Highway 5 about three miles east of Crosby.
The 31-year-old male driver and a 4-year-old boy were seriously hurt.
They were flown to a Minot hospital.
The Florida man driving the truck suffered minor injuries.
A woman working as a flagger in the construction zone was struck by debris but not seriously hurt.
