Two ND Universities Offer New Teaching Program
A new program at two North Dakota universities could help ease a teacher shortage.
A Master of Arts in Teaching degree is being offered at Valley City State and Mayville State universities this fall.
A candidate needs a bachelor’s degree in any subject to qualify.
You do not have to have an education degree.
State school superintendent Kirsten Baesler says it’s a chance for people to become teachers in the middle of their careers.
Dickinson State University plans to start offering the program next year.
