Wrong-Way Crash Leads to DUI Arrest
A South Dakota woman was arrested for DUI after a wrong-way crash on I-29 Friday night.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says around 9:10 p.m., an SUV driven by Taylor Hoeke of Milbank was traveling north in the southbound lane.
A car swerved to try and avoid Hoeke but couldn’t and she hit the passenger side of the car.
45-year-old Kimberly Huyhn of Fargo, a passenger in the car, was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.
The driver, 34-year-old Thuy Huong Huynh Ha, was taken by ambulance to Essentia.
Hoeke was arrested for DUI.
The crash is still under investigation.
