Cat Olympics: A “Pawsome” Cat Show In Town

The Cat Olympics claws its way to West Fargo for the purr-fect weekend.

It’s a cat show organized by American Cat Fancier Association, with cats fighting to be the best of their breed.

One hundred thirteen cats from across the country and Canada are competing.

They will be judged based on the official written standard of each breed.

Organizers say it’s a place where owners can enjoy spoiling their feline friend.

“They love their cats. They love the breed. They’re trying to promote the breed. Second, you make good friends. It’s kind of a family bond after you’ve been doing it for an awhile,” says cat show organizer, Lisa Ferguson.

You can purchase tickets at the Red River Fairgrounds.

The show runs from 9 a.m to 4 p.m Sunday.
