Stolen Vehicle Leads To Injuries and Crash
Two men are in the hospital and one is seriously hurt after a man spots his stolen vehicle in downtown Fargo.
Forty-seven-year-old Ethan King of Fargo spotted his stolen jeep last night around 6:30.
The jeep was stolen last week.
The driver, 29-year-old Jeremiah Two Bear, parked the car in the Empire Bar parking lot.
Two Bear attempted to flee in the vehicle and King tried to stop him by putting his foot on the brake and grabbing on to Two Bear.
He let go as Two Bear drove away.
A passenger in the jeep who got out was hit while Two Bear tried to flee.
He eventually crashed into a parked vehicle.
“We remind folks that anytime you are confronting a person that has committed a crime there is an element of risk and especially when you’re confronting somebody that committed a felony,” says Lt. Joel Vettel with Fargo Police Dept.
Vettel says it’s unclear whether the injuries are life threatening or not.
Charges are still pending.
