Volunteers Dish Out Breakfast At Barnesville’s VFW
Volunteers dished out plenty of eggs, sausages and pancakes this morning, all for six bucks at Barnesville’s VFW.
They host the breakfast each month.
The money raised will go back to the community, including school programs focused on promoting patriotism.
Some volunteers say in today’s world, focusing on patriotism is more important than ever, especially when it comes to educating the area’s youth.
“The older I get the more difficult it is to speak about patriotism and involvements like that without choking,” says Event Coordinator, Kenneth Just.
For any old time music lovers, the VFW will also be hosting a dance this Wednesday evening.
