TedX Talks Bringing Fresh Ideas To Fargo

Ted Talks: a day of speakers, ideas, experiences and connections; are returning to Fargo.

The seventh TedX Fargo event is expected to be the biggest one yet.

Organizers are expecting to fit 1,500 people into the Fargo Civic Center on Thursday.

This year’s mantra is “moving ideas forward, faster.”

Organizers say TedX talks are designed to use new ideas to spark discussion.

“We have a really broad variety of topics at TedX Fargo this year,” says organizer Mark Staples. “We always try to keep it very broad and accepting so everybody can kind of find something that they’re interested in. We have for example, one of our speakers is the first paralyzed man to climb Mt. Rainer.”
