Square One Kitchen Celebrates Re-Opening
After three weeks of being open, Square One Kitchen is celebrating with plenty of delicious food.
Tamales, cupcakes and live cooking demos filled the renovated space after a fire destroyed the rental kitchen in February.
The fire caused $150,000 in damage.
The new layout has a few new tweaks to make it more efficient for the cooks who use the space.
The owner says while she’s happy with the new design, she’s glad to be back in the kitchen.
“I feel like I’m maybe figuring out what normal looks like again now so I’m glad we’re done with that part of this business and I don’t want to ever do that again so it’s good to have it all put back together and have people here and get to see our kitchen friends again,” said owner Casey Steele.
Twenty-five businesses use the space.
Square One does still have slots available 24/7.
The price to rent is $16 per hour.
