West Fargo City Hall Complex Opens

West Fargo city leaders are celebrating the new city hall complex.
 
The building houses both the police department and city hall.

Of the 32,000 square feet added, the police department received 20,000, which they said 90 percent is being used.

They also received an upgrade on the evidence room with a lab, more office space and an underground parking for their patrol cars.

“We wanted something special but within a good budget and we did it. I’m proud of the commissioners and everybody,” says West Fargo Mayor Rich Mattern.
 
This project cost the city more than $10 million.

They hope this will become a focal point for recreational events and weddings.
