More Than One Hundred Skaters in Fargo’s Annual Ice Revue

120 ice skaters hit the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo for the “Upon a Star” Ice Revue.

The Fargo Park District and Red River Valley Figure Skating Club were behind the Disney inspired show which featured both beginners and advance skaters.

Beginner skaters took a six week course.

What they learned in that short time they showcased in the show skating to songs from High School Musical and other crowd favorites.

“It’s a great opportunity to show their family and friends what they’ve learned over the course of the winter. Older competitive skaters, they work on competition stuff all winter long. It’s kind of fun for them to have a fun number. It’s a little more relaxed, not in front of judges,” says Fargo Park District Skate Director Laura Jacobson.

There are three ice skating sessions offered yearly, starting in September.
