Death of Amanda Engst Likely a Homicide
An FBI spokesman says the death of Amanda Engst, whose body was found in the Sheyenne River, “appears to be a homicide.”
The 36–year–old Engst hadn’t been seen for several months when authorities found her body in February on the Spirit Lake Reservation.
A car owned by Engst was used by two people linked to burglaries and robberies in Perley, Buxton and Grandin.
Engst’s cause of death and other details in the case are being kept private as the investigation continues.
She had lived in Fargo, Breckenridge, Halstad, and possibly Warwick, North Dakota, not far from where her body was located.
