Military Appreciation Night Gives Back To Those Who Serve
Those who served our country get special service at the RedHawks Game.
The Chamber of Commerce hosted military appreciation night at Newman Outdoor Field. The Chamber provided tickets for more than 1,000 military families, more than 6,000 people overall.
The Budweiser Clydesdales were also in on the fun. Chamber CEO Craig Whitney says it’s a privilege to do something for people who gave so much for us.
“This year is our biggest, both in the number of military families that we sent to the game. Over 1,000 families will be here tonight all courtesy of The Chamber.”
Along with a picnic, music and games, 24 new service members were sworn in during the event tonight.
