St. Paul Man Faces Federal Kidnapping Charge

A St. Paul man is now facing federal kidnapping charges for abducting his former girlfriend in Minnesota and holding her against her will for three days in Fargo.

Kee Thao is accused of snatching the woman from a casino in Minnesota and holding her captive and assaulting her in a Fargo apartment, until she was able to escape.

It happened in October.

Thao was initially charged in Cass County District Court.

He will stand trial on May 3 on the federal kidnapping charge.
