What is Your Pet Thinking? Try Asking a Pet Medium!
Have you ever wondered what your pet was thinking?
Local pet communicator, Tara Argall, is helping pet owners do just that.
Tara says she has had a special connection with animals since she was young.
She has turned it into a career that has been more rewarding than she ever would of thought.
“My favorite part of my work is when people say I’ll never look at Fluffy the same way again,” said Tara.
Often just using a photo, Tara says she is able to tap in and communicate with animals.
She says over the years she has helped pet owners answer the questions they thought they’d never get answers to.
“They actually have a lot of wisdom. People don’t realize the wisdom animals carry,” said Tara.
So I put her skills to the test, giving her a picture of my two year old Yorkie, Miles, to see just what he had to say.
“So he’s showing me where you used to live. He had a favorite spot to kind of lay and watch things, and he hasn’t quite figured out what that is in the new place. In fact, the windows are different in your new place; he wants to look at the window when nobody’s home. He needs that,” said Tara.
All things for me that are chillingly true.
She says on most of her calls, she has found that pets are usually trying to do one thing.
“I also do get a lot of calls on behavioral things, but when they do that they’re trying to say something,” she said.
Tara’s services have also been utilized at the Homeward Animal Shelter.
The shelter says Tara has helped with a number of their animals who have been strays or abandoned.
“Like I said, we don’t know their backgrounds. It’s just nice to have that different perspective, and that alternative therapy to help us provide them with extra care,” said Heather Klefstad of the Homeward Animal Shelter.
Tara says she has been helping connect people with their pets for over 15 years.
