Geneseo Man Sentenced in Fatal Crash

A Geneseo man has been sentenced to a year in jail for a crash that killed his friend in Sargent County.

Jason Neiber, 21, initially was charged with criminal vehicular homicide but pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of reckless endangerment.

He also was charged with drunk driving in the November 2014 crash that killed his friend, 20-year-old Kyle Nelson, of Lidgerwood.

Neiber will be on probation for two years after serving his jail sentence.
