Woman Suing Fargo Police Over Meth Pipe
A woman who says she was wrongly accused by Fargo police of possessing a meth pipe after she was arrested for drunken driving is suing the city for more than $100,000.
Sarah Rhodes says police blamed her for a pipe that was thrown on the floor of the squad car by another suspect two days earlier.
She says she suffered emotional trauma from possibly facing jail time and losing her job.
The felony drug charge was later dropped.
The lawsuit names the city, two officers and the police chief at the time, Keith Ternes.
