Travel Alert Issued by North Dakota DOT

Strong winds, reduced visibility and icy roads are making driving hazardous in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.

A travel alert has been issued by the North Dakota DOT.

No travel is advised from Grand Forks north to the border, and east to Highway 1.

Roads in purple around Fargo have scattered snow drifts.

Areas in yellow and gray show areas of scattered ice.

In Minnesota, travel is not advised on the roads in purple, which includes much of our viewing area.

Areas of reduced visibility will continue into the morning.
