Gov. Dayton Released from Hospital
Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton has been released from the hospital.
Staffers say he felt mounting pressure in his lower back before losing consciousness last night at an event for a state representative’s campaign in Woodbury.
He will return to a normal work schedule Tuesday.
Questions about his health have followed the 69-year-old governor since he took office in 2011.
He’s had a series of back and hip surgeries.
Dayton has vowed his health problems won’t stop him from finishing his second term.
